What is Gently Soap’s commitment to social impact and responsibility?
As a Black-owned, Black-founded, and Black-operated brand our founder, Kristen Dunning, has a personal dedication to uplifting underserved communities and donating to organizations that speak to her personal experiences.
Every semester we set out to employ individuals within our local community through our paid-internship program. BIPOC, LGBTQ+, women, and members of other underrepresented populations are highly encouraged to apply.
Gently Soap only uses local independently-owned businesses for copying/printing and the purchasing of raw materials. Furthermore, Gently also partners with local female-owned and operated farms to source all of the herbs and medicinal plants used in our fan-favorite, The Herbal Whipped Body Butter. This makes our body butter wholeheartedly and officially, Georgia Grown.
The LOVE GENTLY Initiative
Gently Soap’s LOVE GENTLY initiative donates bar soaps and other personal care products annually to local non-profit organizations committed to serving survivors of sexual and domestic violence.
