TLDR: I hope I can continue to buy this bar of soap for years to come. And I can't wait for the future products and combinations. I look forward to getting my shampoo bar in the mail!
You are doing the Lord's work. I didn't realize I needed this soap. The fragrance and its components remind me of a shaving bar I bought years ago in Longview, TX. It was back in my twenties and I was interested in more natural products, total newb! I drove my grandfather all day from FL to have a visit with his sister in TX. And it was all so memorable. It's nice to be reminded, since both have passed now. Music and scents will immediately transport me back to another time.
My own memories aside, this bar is the one. I just priced the % off amounts so I can buy again in the next couple months and stock up. I will not go without! I have so many fun bars of soap (like from Lush) in the backlog as it is, but this one is doing me so much good. I'm in my 30's and my body is changing. My skin is weirdly dry, despite the intense humidity in FL. So this has been such a blessing.
Stress, bad supplement experience (make sure you always read the 1 star reviews online!!), and IDK what else (maybe Covid?) caused my hair to start falling out last summer, around my face. My hair line took a walk back. I wonder if the root issue is my skin. I have finally got the inflammation down, so we'll see if the follicles recover. I've used the bar on my body and face, with good results. I cannot believe how soft my skin is now. I am more utilitarian, so I use a gentle or fun soap for morning, and something like Old Spice to degrease (haha) after a long session working in the yard or at the gym. I even tried washing my bangs once to see if it would help my skin underneath the hair. It left my hair a little oily, but that's to be expected, it's a nourishing soap after all. I was just curious. I'm looking forward to testing the shampoo when it releases. I already bought a bar.
On a personal note, I watched you on Shark Tank. My fiance loves the show, and I've watched a lot with him. He dreams about starting a business or food truck. I cried watching your pitch. I loved your backstory and education. I love plants, I love learning. I love to grow things so much, but couldn't really for several years when I was very sick. It just filled my heart with so much love knowing that you took such rotten memories and pain, and made something so beautiful to help people with similar issues. I kept your company name in my head (it's hard with 3 concussions), and just kept reminding myself, when we get through the backlog, I'll order. I didn't wait more than a year, haha. I hope that you are always able to keep the spirit of this mission in tact. I hope you learn and grow and expand the lines as you find what works for people or not. You are a beautiful and brilliant woman and I am so glad for you to have been on that show. It's how I found you. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes, just thinking, you are making such an impact on this world, and we get to benefit from that. Good luck to you.
